The NEJE 5, when combined with the A40630 module, is a compact and portable desktop laser engraver and cutter with excellent capabilities in both engraving and cutting. The new NEJE 5 features a seamless reset technology and an updated control system, which has made significant innovations in its integration with software like Lightburn, NEJE software, LaserGRBL, and devices such as rotary axes. The A40630 module is a self-contained unit with lens protection and adjustable focal length, using top-tier Nichia modules equipped with FAC optical compression technology. It features intelligent fan speed control for quieter operation, a low-light positioning function for easier handling, and a maintenance-free needle tube high-pressure gas assist function.

MODULE

The A40630 module combination is a unit that possesses excellent capabilities in both fine engraving details and comprehensive cutting. It utilizes a top-tier Nichia module, offering superior light output efficiency and lifespan compared to similar products. With a silent design, the fan's operation is intelligently linked to the signal and module temperature for an enhanced user experience. It comes with a built-in air assistance feature and is equipped with a maintenance-free needle-style high-pressure gas assistance nozzle. The static electricity protection level exceeds EU standards by more than 10 times. NEJE offers a 2-year free warranty service, and it is compatible with all laser engraving machine models on the market and a very wide range of materials.

Wireless Connection

Multiple device management

Normally, a lightburn software can only control one device in real time. Then NEJE engineers skillfully combine multiple devices with lightburn and laserGRBL software to achieve fast management and project production of multiple devices. This is the uniqueness of NEJE multi-device management.

REC transmission

REC is an innovative data transmission method invented by the NEJE team for lightburn software. It can directly send the edited data file to the NEJE device before starting the work. Traditional lightburn software needs to transmit data in real time for the device to execute instructions. This process has some uncontrollable factors and data interruption risks, such as USB interface instability, computer failure and other factors that will cause project failure.

Offline “one key start”

One-key start is NEJE's classic and efficient operation method. NEJE5 has built-in NEJE firmware and optimized GRBL firmware. With NEJE's unique USB or wireless REC transmission function, it can efficiently complete the reliable operation of work data, batch processing and batch device management. However, the traditional SD card and USB method not only takes up the computer so that you can't use the computer for other projects, but also has to worry about the unreliability of the USB real-time signal causing the interruption of the work.

Air Assist

Air assist is a complex and specialized field for laser equipment, which often requires different air assist solutions based on the materials, maintenance and process effects we actually operate.

A: When dealing with regular engraving and small amount of cutting tasks, we can use the module's own cooling system to protect the lens through airflow, which can largely eliminate the need for an additional AOC oxygen machine to protect the lens.

B: The needle-tube high-pressure air nozzle can use oil-containing and water-containing air sources as air assist. Through the high-pressure gas assist, when cutting wood or HDF boards, it can cut more efficiently and make the edges more.

C. The cavity-type air-assisted configuration is suitable for oil-free and water-free gas sources. Compared with the needle-tube gas nozzle, it consumes relatively more gas, but is easier to operate.

The above three solutions can protect the lens and enhance cutting to a certain extent, but the lens also needs regular maintenance, which can be cleaned with alcohol and cotton swabs.

Quiet design

NEJE module driver has built-in control program. The module uses high-life and high-speed double ball bearing fans. After more than 10 years of development, it has achieved very reliable electrostatic protection, high life and silent experience. The built-in driver can intelligently identify TTL signals and temperature sensing to ensure the reliable working temperature of the module while keeping the fan in a dynamic balance and silent state.

Motion Parameters

NEJE device models have motion parameters set by default. For novices, you do not need to change them. For experienced users, you can optimize the X and Y axis acceleration according to the actual situation to adapt your project in a more efficient way. This requires certain mechanical knowledge and depends on the module you adapt. Don't worry, if you cannot find the original parameters after changing them, you can solve it by re-flashing the firmware.

Area Extension

3 ways to expand the area:

a.Adjust the X-axis screw to increase the height by about 30mm

b.Purchase a modification kit to replace the Y-axis rail, or replace the X and Y-axis rails to obtain a maximum working area of X=290mm, Y=430mm

c.Prepare a standard 2040 track less than 2 meters long, make a set of wires and matching length of synchronous belt with steel wire core, and easily transform it into a super large working area equipment, with the maximum working area reaching X=290mm, Y=1820mm.

The default area of NEJE 5 is 170*170mm. After changing the hardware area by expanding the track, you need to modify the area parameters of the firmware, software, and device.
